G10 Law, APLC is a boutique AV-Rated real estate, land use, business and banking law firm seeking to hire a full-time, on-site transaction paralegal. Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and summarizes legal documents and cases for attorneys;
  • Helps attorneys with analysis, inspections, investigations, and research as directed;
  • Prepares and edits a variety of legal writings, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, loan documents, CC&Rs, etc.;
  • Organizes and distributes checklists, closing instruction letters and closing binders;
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and arbitrations;
  • Reviews commercial and residential lease terms; presents analysis and interpretations of lease provisions to supervising attorneys;
  • Proofreads work, including correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents;
  • Coordinate the daily and weekly tasks of the Transaction Team, ensuring all are completed in a timely manner; and
  • Provide comprehensive administrative functions including initiating, drafting, editing, and finalizing correspondence, agreements , and/or other materials as part of our new matter checklist.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience as a real estate transaction paralegal;
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe;
  • Excellent writing, editing, analytical and communication skills;
  • A self-starter with the ability to multitask at a high level, showing resourcefulness and the ability to problem solve;
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills with an attention to detail;
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage tasks independently and cooperatively, working with multiple attorneys and legal professionals; and
  • Professional demeanor, dress and speech essential;
  • Understanding of commercial and residential real estate purchase and lease transactions a plus;
  • Experience with title, title insurance, and surveys;
  • Familiarity with corporate, land use, and creditor bankruptcy a plus.
