G10 Law, APLC is a boutique AV-Rated real estate, land use, business, and banking law firm seeking to hire for the dual position of Accounting and Legal Assistant. Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Post client payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information received
  • Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with accounting department
  • Input weekly payables and provide billing analysis to leads
  • Assist with accounting and organization mission by completing related projects as directed by leads
  • Some client contact – in person, by telephone and by e-mail

Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Significant client contact– in person, by telephone and by e-mail
  • Prepare draft status reports on each open matter on a regular basis
  • Perform administrative support functions, such as scanning documents, e-mailing documents to clients, maintaining client files, meeting with clients, etc.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative functions including initiating, drafting, editing, and finalizing correspondence, agreements, and/or other materials as part of our New Matter Checklist
  • Coordinate the daily and weekly tasks as part of the New Matter Checklist, ensuring all are completed in a timely manner
  • Proofread work including correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents
  • Assist in preparation of form documents and create signature ready documents


  • Professional demeanor, dress, and speech
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat (pdf manipulation)
  • Working knowledge of Practice Panther a strong plus, but not required
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask at a high level, showing resourcefulness and the ability to problem solve
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage tasks independently
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting related role
